Cheapest Car Hire Quotes For Paphos Airport

Paphos Airport Taxis

Shuttle Direct Airport TransfersThe taxis at Paphos Airport are located just outside the terminal building and are readily available 24 hours.

We recommend a company named Shuttle Dirtect to pre book a private transfer so that when you arrive at Paphos International Airport you will be met by your driver in the arrivals hall who will take you directly to your destination.

A cheaper option would be to book a seat on a shared shuttle bus where this will then stop at the major hotels and resorts close to Larnaca Airport.

Alternatively, you may prefer to get a quote for car hire online.

Urban And Rural Taxi services in Cyprus

Urban taxis can provide a 24-hour-a-day service in all cities.

You can simply hire a taxi from the street although we advise to telephone and book a taxi to ensure availability. The Fares are metered after an initial base charge and the rate is based on a fixed rate chart. Fares for taxis are regulated by law and these comprise of two types of tariff:

  • Tariff 1: Valid from 06:00 to 20:30 – (Daytime Tariff)
  • Tariff 2: Valid from 20:30 to 06:00 – ( Night Tariff) - The rate is slightly higher than Tariff 1
  • On certain public holidays a supplement will be payable.
  • Extra costs are applied for the driver having to wait.
  • Luggage that weighs more than 12 kg costs extra.

In Nicosia, a taxi rank is located at Eleftheria Square (City Centre), with taxi services available at all times.

Rural Taxis

These particular types of taxis serve small towns and villages and do not have taxi meters. The pick up and drop-off points can only be from the taxi base station unless taking a taxi from the taxi rank at the airport or seaport.

The same points mentioned above applies with these taxis in Cyprus and there are two types of tariff with fees paid on a per-kilometre rate. Further fees are payable for extras. Please see above.
